I think we should write on the walls sayin "If walls could talk" "What would they say?"

i think we should have a student leaning back on their chair and then they lean down and you can see a quote in the wall. Like "i Need teachers that actually care about my future".

this website shows computers vs. textbooks, I thought it was pretty cool, and it discusses a lot of the things we went over in class.

In 1991 there was one computer for about every 18 students. Today, the ratio is more like 1 to 4.

I think at the end of our video we should have the whole class come together and say something like "We need a school that can meet all our needs."

I think that this video will be alot of fun.

I think that at the end of the video we should write on the sidewalk saying something that we all need.

1.)I think the video should start out as you about to begin your lecture but your computer(old looking computer with outdated software) is malfunctioning and all the screen says is "I need... I need... I need... I need... I need... I need..." and so on, cover the whole screen and since your old computer isnt working properly you get up and go to the board to start your lecture on the board instead but when you lift up the pull-down backcover thing, the board says "I need... I need... I need... I need..."(and so on and on) covering the board and then when you turn around all the students start taking turns holding up signs(or laptops) saying what they need or dont need.

2.) If we put a quote or statistic on a laptop, we should make it a screensaver so it plays over and over again(like from left to right)

3.) Here's some quotes:

"Out with the old, in with the new"

"If we don't change, we don't grow. If we don't grow, we aren't really living."

"The world hates change, yet it is the only thing that has brought progress."

"We live in a moment of history where change is so speeded up that we begin to see the present only when it is already disappearing."

"When you are through changing, you are through."

"Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself."

"Education is simply the soul of a society as it passes from one generation to another."

"He who opens a school door, closes a prison."

"The great difficulty in education is to get experience out of ideas."

"The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn and change."

"The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet."

"Humanity is acquiring all the right technology for all the wrong reasons."

"The future has already arrived. It's just not evenly distributed yet."

"Only 70% of all students in public high schools graduate, and only 32% of all students leave high school qualified to attend four-year colleges".

Here's the links to the idea Dina and I had for the teachers' view of what they need from students

It's just something different and we think it will get a point across.
